I once stated in a high school yearbook that I want to be a “writer/counselor/theologian” when I grow up. Indeed, that’s what I am and am becoming.
I have a B.A. in English/Creative Writing from The College of William & Mary, as well as an M.Div. underway at Duke Divinity School. I have an evangelical background, as well as a liturgical heart. I have mild depression, as well as wild hope. I have questions, as well as stories that function as answers. This blog is where I work out some of those stories — and share them with you along the way.
A few favorite posts to get to know me and my writing:
- Sacrament at the Soul of Me (September 2016)
- An Order of Conversion – a longer story about my journey into the Episcopal Church (August 2015)
- When Church Hurts (September 2014)
